Ten years ago I bought my new Enco RF30 Mill/Drill (model ). My friend and I used a halfton pickup truck to move it from the local Enco warehouse to my garage. Then an engine hoist was used to transfer the machine from the truck bed to the garage floor. Ah, that was the easy part.
The lathe's top slide is then replaced with the table (supplied with the mill/drill head PF 230). The table has a size of 45/16" x 23/4" and 3T slots 15/32" x 15/64" x 15/64". The lathe now functions as a compound table, with XY travel being longitudinal and crosswise respectively.

Feb 29, 2016 · I have both an HF minimill and and RF31 (Taiwan made). And while the minimil is a nice for small parts, the RF31 is in an entirely different league.
